Quick Project Estimator ("the App") is developed and operated by Kolbe. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects only the minimum information required to provide its core functionality:

• Account information — your email address, collected via Firebase Authentication when you create an account or sign in.
• Estimate data — project names, line items, quantities, and prices that you enter into the App. This data is stored in Google Firestore under your account and is used exclusively to display and sync your estimates across devices.

Creating an account is optional — the App works fully offline without one. Account information is only collected if you choose to sign up for cloud sync.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the App's features:

• Authenticating you when you sign in.
• Saving and syncing your estimates across devices you are signed in to.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the App's functionality.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties, except for the infrastructure providers listed below that are necessary to operate the App:

• Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) — your data is stored on Google's servers under Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 7).

5. Security

Your data is stored in Google Firestore with security rules that restrict access exclusively to your own account. No other user can read or modify your estimates.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
